The first children's educational and creative sports camp "Move Now" in Momchilgrad has successfully ended. The purpose of the event was to focused the atttention of 10 children at risk from socially vulnerable groups to their education and professional development.
The initiative "Together for a better future" is organized thanks to Bulgarian Youth Red Cross Kardzhali and Allianz Bulgaria. The ultra-marathoner Krasi Georgiev and the athlete Nikol Andonova participated in the event by infecting the children with sport spirit and motivation for a healthy lifestyle.
During the one-week camp, representatives of Allianz Bulgaria inspired the children with lectures, games and a personal example. In an engaging and funny way they introduced to the young people the world of finance and insurance, gave them the opportunity to engage in career guidance role-plays, as well as to find out a little more about different professions and opportunities for a healthy lifestyle. The attention of the children was focused towards the education, efforts, dedication and pation, which help to be successful regardless hte path you take. Allianz professionals shared their personal experience helping the children to improve their communication skills and build their financial literacy. The children were also introduced to the world of geology by touching a piece of rock 144 million years old.
The idea of the charity initiative "Together for a Better Future" is to achieve sustainability and development by organizing a number of educational and creative children's camps in the next three years, and during this period more than 80 children and young people will pass through the program.
